Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación asumió como objetivo analizar y explicar el proceso del desarrollo de la expresión oral en estudiantes de educación primaria, destacando sus características y las estrategias didácticas de mayor impacto para su mejora. La metodología que se utilizó fue la revisión bibliográfica y el análisis de la información obtenida de diferentes fuentes escritas consultadas de manera virtual en repositorios institucionales como artículos científicos, libros e investigaciones reportadas en tesis. Producto de la sistematización de la información, el estudio se organizó en tres bloques temáticos. El primero referido a los fundamentos teóricos de la expresión oral, el segundo alude a las características de su desarrollo y el tercero, referido a las estrategias para el desarrollo de esta capacidad. El análisis de la información permite concluir señalando que el desarrollo de la expresión oral en estudiantes de educación primaria es un proceso gradual a través del cual se adquiere y fortalece de manera progresiva la habilidad de comunicarse verbalmente, a su vez, está influenciada por las interacciones reales que experimenta en ámbitos personales, sociales, familiares y educativos, los cuales desempeñan un rol fundamental en la construcción y valorización del propio lenguaje y el de los demás.
The present research work assumed as its objective to analyze and explain the development process of oral expression in elementary school students, highlighting its characteristics and the didactic strategies of greater impact for its improvement. The methodology used was the bibliographic review and the analysis of the information obtained from different written sources consulted virtually in institutional repositories such as scientific articles, books and research reported in theses. As a result of the systematization of the information, the study was organized in three thematic blocks. The first refers to the theoretical foundations of oral expression, the second refers to the characteristics of its development, and the third refers to the strategies for the development of this ability. The analysis of the information allows concluding that the development of oral expression in elementary school students is a gradual process through which the ability to communicate verbally is acquired and strengthened progressively, and is influenced by the real interactions experienced in personal, social, family and educational environments, which play a fundamental role in the construction and valorization of one's own language and that of others.
