Resumen
El trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar y sistematizar información sobre la comprensión lectora en estudiantes de educación primaria. Se utilizó la metodología de revisión bibliográfica y de análisis documental. Los resultados del análisis de la información confirman que se necesita de la motivación, modelación y acompañamiento de los docentes y padres de familia y la aplicación de recursos y herramientas didácticas pertinentes. En conclusión, la comprensión lectora es un proceso progresivo de entendimiento de los textos escritos; además, es complejo ya que involucra la combinación y movilización autónoma de capacidades cognitivas y metacognitivas en la construcción de significados.
This research aimed to analyze and systematize information on reading comprehension in elementary school students. The methodology used was a literature review and document analysis. The results of the information analysis confirm the need for motivation, modeling, and support from teachers and parents, as well as the application of relevant teaching resources and tools. In conclusion, reading comprehension is a progressive process of understanding written texts; moreover, it is complex because it involves the combination and autonomous mobilization of cognitive and metacognitive abilities in the construction of meaning.
