Resumen
El trabajo académico tuvo como objetivo analizar perspectivas teóricas y conceptuales sobre el teatro como recurso didáctico. El método utilizado comprendió la revisión bibliográfica y consistió en explorar diversas fuentes de información, examinar, interpretar y sistematizar el contenido para construir el cuerpo teórico. Los descriptores que orientaron el estudio giraron en torno a la definición del teatro como herramienta didáctica, el análisis del enfoque comunicativo; descripción de los géneros literarios, tipologías, y procesos didácticos; además, de su contribución en el desarrollo de diversos aprendizajes. Las conclusiones confirman que, el teatro ofrece una variedad de beneficios en el fortalecimiento de los aspectos cognitivos, axiológicos, sociales, comunicativos, conductuales y emocionales; asimismo, estimula el pensamiento creativo y crítico; además, es un medio potente en la motivación, atención, concentración y construcción autónoma de conocimientos, además fortalece la confianza, seguridad, sociabilidad, comunicación y responde a los intereses de los estudiantes. Asimismo, su incorporación pedagógica como recurso didáctico favorece el desarrollo de competencias y capacidades, constituyéndose en relevante el rol docente en condicionar los ambientes áulicos y teatrines para fortalecer los talentos artísticos.
The objective of this academic work was to analyze theoretical and conceptual perspectives on theater as a teaching resource. The method used included a bibliographic review and consisted of exploring various sources of information, examining, interpreting, and systematizing the content to construct the theoretical framework. The descriptors that guided the study revolved around the definition of theater as a teaching tool; the analysis of the communicative approach; a description of literary genres, typologies, and teaching processes; and its contribution to the development of diverse learning processes. The conclusions confirm that theater offers a variety of benefits in strengthening cognitive, axiological, social, communicative, behavioral, and emotional aspects; it also stimulates creative and critical thinking; it is a powerful medium for motivation, attention, concentration, and autonomous construction of knowledge; it also strengthens confidence, security, sociability, and communication, and responds to students' interests. Furthermore, its pedagogical incorporation as a teaching resource favors the development of skills and abilities, making the role of teachers relevant in shaping classroom and theater environments to strengthen artistic talents.
