Resumen
Trabajo de investigación centrado en el respeto que es un valor fundamental que permite una convivencia armónica y el desarrollo de relaciones interpersonales saludables para una convivencia sana y armoniosa, cuyo objetivo de esta investigación es ayudar a mejorar las conductas relacionadas con la falta de respeto entre los estudiantes de secundaria en el área de educación física. Como metodología utilizada fue la revisión documental, bibliográfica y haciendo uso de fichas de análisis, se revisó diversa información sobre experiencias, buenas prácticas y teoría que argumentan la formación en valores desde el trabajo pedagógico en el área de educación física, también se han encontrado estrategias que promueven la práctica del valor del respeto, teniendo en claro que el currículo nacional de educación básica, en particular para el área del estudio, presenta competencias que al trabajarse de forma estructurada pueden revertir notoriamente conductas inadecuadas en jóvenes y adolescentes. En definitiva, esta investigación contribuye a los propósitos educativos, en la formación de personas con autonomía en la práctica de valores, capaces de una convivencia armoniosa y la construcción de una sociedad utópica para todos.
