The objective of this action research study was to improve the oral expression skills of 4-year-old children through teaching strategies at Preschool No. 013 Magllanal–Jaén. The methodology used was action research with a qualitative approach. The sample population consisted of 21 4-year-old children. Direct observation was used to collect data, and a field journal served as the observation recording instrument. The results showed that the teaching strategies used significantly improved the children’s oral expression. Furthermore, it was found that the project’s curriculum planning and contextualization, along with the learning sessions, contributed to strengthening teaching practices and reorienting pedagogical and didactic processes, thereby ensuring improvements in the students’ oral expression. The study concludes by noting that the pedagogical intervention and the use of teaching strategies such as riddles, poetry, storytelling, singing, rhymes, chants, and tongue twisters strengthened the children’s oral expression, creating opportunities for them to express clearly, fluently, and coherently what they feel, think, and desire in accordance with their needs and interests.
