dc.description.abstract	La investigación tuvo como objetivo compilar y analizar información teórica sobre la literatura en educación inicial. La metodología se sustentó en la revisión bibliográfica que permitió la búsqueda, selección y sistematización de información pertinente sobre el tema de investigación. Los resultados indican que la promoción de literatura en los niños contribuye en la formación del pensamiento creativo, crítico, simbólico e impulsa el desarrollo de capacidades sociocognitivas, comunicativas y emocionales. Se concluye que, es un proceso interactivo entre el lector, texto y el contexto, combina el pensamiento y el lenguaje, se apoya en el acompañamiento y refuerzo del docente para alcanzar los niveles de compresión. Asimismo, es un recurso lingüístico que posibilita la expresión de sentimientos, pensamientos, emociones, reflexiones y fomenta la comprensión del mundo real e imaginario a partir de diversos géneros literarios. Su implementación requiere de estrategias de animación lectora como la lectura diaria, narración de textos orales, y el uso de libros que contengan ilustraciones y grafías de gran tamaño. Además, es necesario que los docentes y familias asuman roles donde promuevan la motivación, mediación y orientación efectiva para incentivar e impulsar la lectura en el aula y el hogar.
dc.description.abstract	The research aimed to compile and analyze theoretical information on literature in early childhood education. The methodology was based on a literature review that allowed for the search, selection, and systematization of relevant information on the research topic. The results indicate that promoting literature among children contributes to the development of creative, critical, and symbolic thinking, and fosters the development of socio-cognitive, communicative, and emotional skills. It is concluded that reading is an interactive process between the reader, the text, and the context; it combines thought and language and relies on teacher guidance and reinforcement to achieve comprehension, it is also a linguistic resource that enables the expression of feelings, thoughts, emotions, and reflections, and promotes the understanding of the real and imaginary world through diverse literary genres. Its implementation also requires reading encouragement strategies such as daily reading, oral text narration, and the use of books containing illustrations and large print. Likewise, it is necessary for teachers and families to assume roles that promote motivation, mediation, and effective guidance to encourage and promote reading in the classroom and home.
