Resumen
El presente trabajo académico tuvo como objetivo analizar las bases conceptuales y metodológicas de la indagación científica en el nivel inicial y su importancia en el desarrollo integral del niño. La metodología utilizada fue consultar diversas fuentes de información, considerando entre los buscadores de mayor recurrencia Scielo, Alicia, Concytec y también el Google académico. Estas fuentes proporcionaron una información fiable representadas por diversos autores sobre la indagación científica. A partir de la sistematización de la información, se organizaron dos bloques temáticos: la indagación científica y la indagación científica en educación inicial; así mismo, aborda la importancia de la indagación científica en los niños, destacando sus múltiples beneficios, como el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico, la curiosidad y la creatividad, así como el aprendizaje activo y participativo. Además, se examinan los desafíos asociados con su implementación, tales como la actitud de los padres de familia y la necesidad de fortalecer la formación docente. Finalmente, se proponen estrategias para su desarrollo efectivo. En las conclusiones se reafirma que la indagación científica es una estrategia pedagógica que favorece la exploración activa, la curiosidad, la cooperación y el desarrollo cognitivo y socioemocional de los niños.
The present academic work aimed to analyze the conceptual and methodological foundations of scientific inquiry in early childhood education and its importance in children's comprehensive development. The methodology used involved consulting various sources of information, including Scielo, Alicia, Concytec, and Google Scholar among the most frequently used search engines. These sources provided reliable information on scientific inquiry, represented by various authors. Based on the systematization of the information, two thematic sections were organized: scientific inquiry and scientific inquiry in early childhood education. The work also addresses the importance of scientific inquiry in children, highlighting its multiple benefits, such as the development of critical thinking, curiosity, and creativity, as well as active and participatory learning. The work also examines the challenges associated with its implementation, such as the attitudes of parents and the need to strengthen teacher training. Finally, strategies for its effective implementation are proposed. The conclusions reaffirm that scientific inquiry is a pedagogical strategy that promotes active exploration, curiosity, cooperation, and the cognitive and socio-emotional development of children.
