Abstract
La presente monografía tuvo como objetivo sistematizar información importante sobre la psicomotricidad en educación inicial. El método utilizado en esta investigación consistió en la revisión bibliográfica sobre la psicomotricidad como categoría principal. Para ello, se consultó diversas fuentes de información, considerando entre los buscadores de mayor recurrencia Google académico, Scielo y Redalyc. Fuentes que brindaron información válida y confiable expresada en revistas de alto impacto. Los descriptores más comunes para encontrar la información requerida fueron psicomotricidad, habilidades motoras, desarrollo psicomotriz, psicomotricidad en la educación inicial, estrategias para el desarrollo psicomotor. Como resultado se logró elaborar una monografía de compilación de la categoría psicomotricidad en educación inicial. Las conclusiones manifiestan que, la psicomotricidad desempeña un papel fundamental en la vida del niño, está presente en su actuar diario al explorar su entorno, manipular objetos, relacionarse con los otros, jugar, caminar, correr; en fin, la psicomotricidad es inherente a la vida del niño. El logro de las habilidades motrices básicas va a favorecer las interacciones de los niños.
The objective of this monograph was to systematize important information about psychomotor skills in early education. To do this, various sources of information were consulted, considering Google academic, Scielo and Redalyc among the most frequently used search engines. Sources that provided valid and reliable information expressed in high-impact magazines. The most common descriptors to find the required information were psychomotor skills, motor skills, psychomotor development, psychomotor skills in initial education, strategies for psychomotor development. As a result, a compilation monograph of the psychomotor category in early education was prepared. The conclusions show that psychomotor skills play a fundamental role in the child's life, it is present in their daily actions when exploring their environment, manipulating objects, relating to others, playing, walking, running; In short, psychomotor skills are inherent to the child's life. The achievement of basic motor skills will favor children's interactions.
