Abstract
Este trabajo se centra en el desarrollo de la creatividad en niños de 5 años en el ámbito de la educación inicial. El objetivo fue analizar y comprender las características del proceso de desarrollo de la creatividad en los niños, así como las estrategias pedagógicas que ayudan a potenciarla. La metodología adoptada fue la revisión bibliográfica, consultando diversas fuentes escritas virtuales y físicas. Se destaca la importancia de la creatividad, explorando definiciones, teorías y dimensiones creativas, junto con las estrategias específicas. Se reconoce el papel clave del docente y la familia en el desarrollo creativo. La creatividad se define como la habilidad de generar ideas originales y valiosas, abordando dimensiones como originalidad, fluidez, elaboración, sensibilidad a problemas, motivación intrínseca, apertura a nuevas experiencias, colaboración y persistencia. En el contexto de la educación inicial, se presentan estrategias para estimular la creatividad, resaltando el rol activo del docente, la metodología de descubrimiento y la motivación intrínseca del niño. El trabajo concluye resaltando la importancia de cultivar la creatividad desde la educación inicial, con énfasis en el papel esencial del docente y la familia, y la necesidad de proporcionar un entorno seguro para fomentar la expresión creativa de los niños.
This work focuses on the development of creativity in 5-year-old children in the field of early education. The objective was to analyze and understand the characteristics of the development process of creativity in children, as well as the pedagogical strategies that help enhance it. The methodology adopted was a bibliographic review, consulting various virtual and physical written sources. The importance of creativity is highlighted, exploring definitions, theories and creative dimensions, along with specific strategies. The key role of the teacher and the family in creative development is recognized. Creativity is defined as the ability to generate original and valuable ideas, addressing dimensions such as originality, fluency, elaboration, sensitivity to problems, intrinsic motivation, openness to new experiences, collaboration and persistence. In the context of initial education, strategies are presented to stimulate creativity, highlighting the active role of the teacher, the discovery methodology and the child's intrinsic motivation. The work concludes by highlighting the importance of cultivating creativity from early education, with emphasis on the essential role of the teacher and the family, and the need to provide a safe environment to encourage the creative expression of children.
