Los campos temáticos son: psicomotricidad, expresión psicomotriz y enseñanza aprendizaje de la expresión psicomotriz en educación primaria. La metodología es bibliográfica, utilizando el análisis documental para el compendio de la información. Los resultados muestran que existen suficientes fundamentos teóricos científicos y didácticos referidos a la expresión psicomotriz y que son variados, la misma que se ha compilado según campos temáticos. Se concluye que la psicomotricidad en el niño, evidencia sus habilidades para expresarse, moverse y relacionarse sin dificultades, de manera progresiva, a través de lenguajes corporal, sonoro, musical, gráfico, plástico, entre otros. Se desarrolla movimientos coordinados, usando técnicas, juegos diversos, estrategias didácticas y actividades que ejercitan la motricidad fina y gruesa y los padres fortalecen la expresión y conocimiento corporal de los hijos de manera vivencial y contextual; brindando diversos escenarios y recursos; mediante el movimiento la expresión viva del cuerpo.The purpose of the research work was to analyze and determine the theoretical and didactic foundations of psychomotor expression in primary education. The thematic fields are: psychomotor skills, psychomotor expression and teaching and learning of psychomotor expression in primary education. The methodology is bibliographic, using documentary analysis for the compendium of information. The results show that there are sufficient theoretical, scientific and didactic foundations referring to psychomotor expression and that they are varied, which has been compiled according to thematic fields. It is concluded that psychomotor skills in the child evidences their abilities to express, move and relate without difficulties, progressively, through body language, sound, music, graphic, plastic, among others.
