Consecuentemente, es preciso mencionar que la importancia de la motricidad fina radica en la facultad de los niños en manipular objetos de modo preciso y minucioso, permitiéndoles desarrollarse de manera integral.The purpose of this research was to understand the importance of fine motor skills in the cognitive and socioemotional development of children in early education; for this purpose, the study used the qualitative approach method, and thanks to an exhaustive review of the relevant literature, it was possible to identify the documents to conduct the research; Thus, in a subjective and conceptualized way, it was demonstrated that the development of fine motor skills in early childhood is fundamental for the future of children, that is, in their adult life, since it forms the foundations in the cognitive and social area of the infant, positively influencing their autonomy, self-esteem, learning and academic performance, not to mention the skills acquired in fine motor functioning.
